Hello,

I was hoping to get a little help from you guys. The players, by asking some questions. I also hope this thread becomes a continual thing. Now, on to my point.

I noticed our plots, although with some unique twists, have a lot of similar basic ideas as to other plots that have happened in the NERO world.  What I want to know is what you guys think we are doing right, and what we are doing wrong? Which plots interest you and why, and what turns you off to a plot?

Furthermore, what do you NOT want to see at a NERO Elkins event?

And of the currently running plots that your aware of. What are some highlights of what you like about them and dislike?

=3 I look forward to your responses.

Well i for one enjoy a fluid plot. Ask Nik, he knows i test/break plots without realizing it. (call of cthulhu incident resulting in an explosion and half the plot being blown away) So i really appreciate a plot that is a living being and can adapt to the players. something i don't always like is a plot hook that has to end in violence.

Sure the fighting is great and its fun but i like to take the diplomatic approach. i'm not out to kill every npc i meet. Like for instance Happy. He is fun to play with and he likes playing with Zyphur. they go back and forth. Coming from the guy who has had the WORST Happy luck. Ask Kyle he knows how bad Zyphur's luck has been when Happy is about.

When i get drawn into a plot it gives me more drive to see it through

I like many different options in a game.

What I don;t wanna see, is Sci-Fi ish things or things not really at home in a Fantasy game like NERO.

Futuristic beings.
Time Travel. Although this current plot skirts it, it still keeps it grounded in fantasy.

I'd love to see more things involving diplomatic alliances between other lands or  kingdoms.

I'd also love to see a plot that revolves around a military/army type campaign where being conquered is a possibility.

*ponders a moment* actually the way you worded the concern about scifi/futuristic plots is my exact same concern.

I agree with military plot lines and diplomalicy plots.

I don't care too much for sci-fi witch hyas been said already.

I love dealing with things that are race specific.

I love any plot that deals helping/screwing nobility.

Hrm. I've always enjoyed sci fi in my plots. Though the current dosage is at request of one of the people it's persona plot for.

Reminds me of all the Sci Fi hidden away in DnD. XD Illithids.

Know I'm taking notes. Already may of changed a plot or two. I like to satisfy people. If you could also give examples of any plots you remember that were amazing and why, it'd be nice too.

Since my primary is a sneaky character I like scenarios that require stealth and tact.

scout missions
stealing from bad guys (I know most the time we just beat him down and take it)

a Stealth Mission does sound like alot of fun I have to admit though I think I'd need to make a costume with less White on it for that. XD

Alex, Nikki, Joe and I are all very good at rogue mods! just ask Mike, or Nikkolas. They know how good we are.

<=3 Yeah I wish I could of seen the Trial. xD

Stealth Mods? I'll remember that, I had one one tavern night on St.Patricks. Kind of. It was a mod where the players had to gamble with a big time shark, in order to help a guy win back all his stuff. and there was some underhanded cheating, that they had to use to get through it. So they had to stealthily cheat. xD or get killed by the mafia.
